Health and safety representative training providers in Western Australia
To be equipped to exercise all their powers and perform all their functions as outlined in the Work Health and Safety Act 2020, health and safety representatives and deputies are required to attend an initial five-day training course approved by the Work Health and Safety Commission.
Work Health and Safety Commission
The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 provides that health and safety representative training must be delivered through a course of training that is approved by the WHSC. The conditions that RTOs must operate under when approved to deliver the training are also set by the WHSC.
HSR annual reports
The Work Health and Safety Commission requires each approved training provider to submit an annual report about the delivery of courses for the year ending 30 June.
